In order to present classical music in a different and exciting way that expands and explodes the conventions of the genre, we offer a new vision. It’s called "Reframing Classical Music."

Our goal is to redefine the "norms" of classical chamber music. We begin by programming our concerts around a specific theme or idea. The themes in our first few seasons were TRANSFORMATIONS,  VISIONS, REFLECTIONS, and CELEBRATIONS.  In this 2016-17 season we continue with several salons we call NBCO@Zimmerli, as well as the full concert "begBORROWsteal" on June 3, 2017 at Christ Church in downtown New Brunswick.  

Instead of falling back on the commonplace imagery for classical music, we collaborate with brilliant New Jersey visual artists, using their work as a visual representation, an illumination into the emotional and intellectual states that we want to explore.
