“Sounds of the Season”

Nicholas Music Center, Friday, December 12, 2025, at 7:30 PM

Ring in the holidays with the New Brunswick Chamber Orchestra at Sounds of the Season! Under the baton of Dr. Julia Baumanis, this festive concert shines with timeless classics and joyful favorites — from Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Suite to the grand Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah.

The orchestra will be joined by four local choirs,Cantabile Chamber Chorale, Philomusica Concert Choir, the Rutgers Voorhees Choir, and the Lincoln Elementary Children's Choir.

The audience is invited to sing along to the most favorite orchestral carols of the season. The lush voice of Paula Johns will also warm the stage with holiday jazz classics that capture the true spirit of the season.

Bring family and friends and join us for an evening of artistry and celebration, with a few musical surprises along the way—a perfect musical prelude to the holidays!

Purchase tickets at a reduced rate until November 15. A $5 surcharge will be added for tickets purchased after November 15 and at the door.

Special reserved VIP tickets, the best in the house, are available here.
